It's a Party! Watch Barack Obama Accept His 2012 Nomination for President
Mark your calendars for September 6 to gather with Democrats and watch and listen live from the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte NC, as Barack Obama accepts his Party's nomination for the Presidency.
We will meet in the Community Room at KNPB Channel 5 at 1670 N. Virginia St. in Reno, on the north end of the UNR Campus to watch the speech live on a big screen. Enjoy some food, wine (donations appreciated) and camaraderie as we celebrate the end of the nominating process that started in January with our precinct caucuses.
The Watch Party will begin in late afternoon/early evening. Watch this newsletter for details as we learn more about the agenda for the National Convention. This acceptance speech will start the final countdown to the Nov. 6 General Election...don't miss it!
