Our next monthly gathering on September 5. We have so far confirmed NV-03 Democratic Nominee John Oceguera and SD 05 (State Senate) Democratic Nominee Joyce Woodhouse to talk with us about how critical our neighborhoods are in changing the balance of power in Washington and Carson City.

Henderson Public Libraries Executive Director Tom Fay will also join us to discuss the "Save Our Libraries" campaign to pass the ballot initiative to keep Henderson's libraries open and functioning.

Our iPad raffle is continuing. Reply to this email if you'd like to buy tickets (at $5 each) soon. Otherwise, we will have more tickets for sale on September 5. Our next meeting will also be the deadline to add names to our charter proclamation, so let us know by then if you'd like to be on that. We will also have name badges and lanyards available for sale on September 5.
