Day 2 of Heller Refusing to Answer What in Ad on Heller’s Big Oil Pay-to-Play Scheme Is “Untrue”

Las Vegas, NV – Tick, tock.  Tick, tock. It is day two of unelected Senator Dean Heller’s campaign calling the  ad Nevada Democrats released yesterday highlighting Heller’s pay-to-play scheme with Big Oil “untrue," while refusing to say what specifically was not true.

Well, in an unprecedented effort to make this as easy as possible for the Heller campaign, we are helpfully providing specific questions about what exactly they find “untrue” in the ad about Dean Heller's ethically questionable connection with Big Oil.

Question 1: Did oil & gas industry not donate over $100,000 to Heller’s campaign?

Question 2: Did Dean Heller not vote 8 times to protect taxpayer giveaways to Big Oil?

Question 3: Did BP lobbyists not hold a fundraiser for Dean Heller on his SECOND day as a Senator?

Question 4: Did Dean Heller not vote 7 days later to protect taxpayer giveaways to Big Oil?

Question 5: Did Dean Heller not hire an oil and gas industry lobbyist the very next day after said lobbyist terminated his lobbying duties?

Question 6: Did a lobbyist for BP not host a fundraiser for Dean Heller one month before Heller voted to protect the oil industry from increased oversight after the BP explosion and subsequent oil spill?

Hey, Dean! We're waiting.
